Empower your staff to help save the life of a refugee
Reaching Out Winnipeg has launched a special campaign to raise funds for our cause while bringing your staff together.
The concept behind this fundraiser is unique—representing the asylum seeker, it involves a physical suitcase, outfitted with a ‘tiptap’ payment device, that will serve as a collection box, conveniently placed in your workplace's common area for a one-week period. The tiptap device allows for your staff to simply tap the device with a debit or credit card and $10 from their account will automatically be sent to Reaching Out Winnipeg.
Accompanying the suitcase will be info cards and stickers to help your staff learn more about Reaching Out Winnipeg and our mission. This fundraiser will present your workplace with the opportunity to play a key role in supporting Reaching Out Winnipeg’s ability to provide aid to some of the most vulnerable individuals within the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
We will also supply you with customizable templates for social media posts to celebrate your organization’s commitment to the cause, and an introduction letter announcing the fundraiser to your staff.
Together, we can help 2SLGBTQ+ refugees resettle in Winnipeg, offering them renewed hope, safety, and the opportunity for a brighter tomorrow.
